Dr Cameron Stirling

Cameron has been a doctor for 19 years and a recognised Fellow of the Australasian College of Emergency Medicine for nine of those years. He has worked across a wide spectrum of acute care medicine, gaining experience in paediatrics at the Queensland Children’s Hospital, acute maternal medicine at Mater Mothers, and general emergency medicine at multiple sites.

He is currently pursuing his interest in rural and remote medicine as the Director of the Mount Isa Hospital Emergency Department. Over his career, he has developed a keen interest in pain medicine and paediatric procedural sedation, applying this expertise to improve patient care in challenging and high-pressure environments.

Cameron has a long association with the Springfield and Greater Ipswich area, having trained at Ipswich Hospital and provided after-hours medical supervision to Mater Springfield since 2016. He is passionate about bringing his extensive experience and dedication for acute medical care to the urgent care setting.
