When to see us for treatment
Symptoms that may indicate the need for sports injury assessment include:
- Sprains, strains or muscle tears
- Joint swelling, bruising or tenderness
- Pain that begins during or after physical activity
- Limited movement or instability
- Suspected minor fractures
- Shoulder, knee, ankle or wrist injuries
- Symptoms interfering with training, work or daily tasks
- Pain that is not improving with rest or simple measures
Our emergency specialist-led team provides prompt evaluation with on-site imaging to support early diagnosis and safe return to activity.
For serious trauma or loss of consciousness during sport, please attend the nearest Emergency Department.
Sports injury care we provide
Evaluation and Diagnosis
We examine the injured area, listen to your symptoms and may use on-site imaging to understand the cause and severity of your injury.
Sports Injury Treatment
Management may include compression, splinting, wound care, pain relief, supportive bandaging, or advice on activity modification.
Rehabilitation Guidance
We provide clear instructions about rest, gentle movement and gradual return to activity to reduce the risk of reinjury.
On-site Diagnostics
On-site X-ray, CT, ultrasound and pathology support timely diagnosis and appropriate treatment planning. Bulk billing is available for eligible patients on these additional services.
Referral to Allied Health or Specialists
If you require ongoing physiotherapy, sports medicine review or orthopaedic care, we can help guide the next steps.
