Iron deficiency symptoms

Fatigue can have many causes, and feeling tired does not necessarily mean you need an iron infusion. Iron deficiency or iron-deficiency anaemia can cause symptoms such as shared below.
If fatigue, weakness or dizziness is affecting your day to day, you can walk into SmartCare UrgentCare where our Emergency Specialist-led team can review your symptoms, medical history, current medicines and arrange on-site blood testing if required. An iron infusion can be provided after your iron levels, symptoms and treatment needs have been assessed.

  • Ongoing tiredness or low energy
  • Weakness
  • Light-headedness or dizziness
  • Reduced ability to exercise or stay active
  • Low iron symptoms where an iron infusion has been recommended
  • Shortness of breath with exertion
  • Difficulty concentrating
